About this package
Kinnaur Kalpa Tour Package from Chennai is a 6 nights 7 days plan covering Shimla, Sarahan, Sangla and Kalpa. Your stay includes rooms on twin sharing with breakfast and dinner, a private car for transfers and sightseeing, and a day-wise itinerary that you can change to suit your dates, group and budget. You travel to Chandigarh or Delhi and our driver takes it from there; the land package starts at your arrival point. Tickets from Chennai are not part of the package price, and we can help you choose and book them. The Kinnaur road runs along the Sutlej river and is long and winding, so the plan keeps the drives realistic and the stays unhurried.
Shimla is the old summer capital of British India, and the Kinnaur road starts here and follows the Sutlej valley into the mountains. Sarahan is an old Himalayan village with the Bhimakali temple, built of wood and stone, below the Shrikhand Mahadev range. Sangla lies in the Baspa valley at about 2,680 m, with apple orchards, Kamru Fort and the road on to Chitkul, the last village on the river.
